Um estudo chin\u00eas recente revela a raz\u00e3o por tr\u00e1s do fen\u00f4meno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;Pesquisadores do Instituto de Pesquisa do Planalto Tibetano da Academia Chinesa de Ci\u00eancias analisaram de 8 a 10 anos de dados de observa\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1rvores e arbustos na mesma regi\u00e3o no sudeste do Tibet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;Eles descobriram que, sob um aquecimento da primavera de 1 grau Celsius, o crescimento avan\u00e7a em 2-4 dias nas \u00e1rvores, mas atrasa em 3-8 dias nos arbustos. A resposta diferente ao aquecimento deveu-se ao fato de os arbustos serem muito mais sens\u00edveis do que as \u00e1rvores a ambientes frios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;O estudo foi publicado na revista National Science Review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;Os pesquisadores ent\u00e3o tiveram uma meta-an\u00e1lise global combinada com um modelo de crescimento baseado em processos para explorar os fatores determinantes das mudan\u00e7as de crescimento em resposta ao aquecimento em 11 linhas das \u00e1rvores alpinas no Hemisf\u00e9rio Norte. Linha das \u00e1rvores \u00e9 a eleva\u00e7\u00e3o na qual as \u00e1rvores n\u00e3o crescem mais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;A an\u00e1lise provou que as \u00e1rvores s\u00e3o mais sens\u00edveis ao aquecimento da primavera do que os arbustos, como esperado. Os arbustos s\u00e3o mais influenciados pelo ac\u00famulo de frio do que as \u00e1rvores. Desde 1990, o aquecimento clim\u00e1tico tem promovido o crescimento nas linhas das \u00e1rvores alpinas, enquanto os arbustos n\u00e3o t\u00eam respondido significativamente ao processo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;Os pesquisadores apontaram que, no contexto do aquecimento global, a taxa de aquecimento em altas altitudes \u00e9 significativamente maior do que a de baixas altitudes. Isso envolveria encurtar a esta\u00e7\u00e3o de crescimento para arbustos e estend\u00ea-la para \u00e1rvores.
